PRODUCT VIDEO BUYING DECISIONS

How to commission product videos remotely.

Commission original content without a studio visit. Velnox plans, films and edits consumer electronics, mobile accessories, creator gear and desk products in Zhuzhou, Hunan, China. Domestic teams can arrange direct shipment; US and other international brands can send samples to China or coordinate factory supply. The route depends on the product—not the client's nationality.

The remote production sequence

Discuss the product and intended use → agree scope, quote and sample arrangements → approve our shooting plan, copy and script → receive a filmed and edited draft → review agreed revisions → receive the approved digital files. Sample readiness and approval dependencies are confirmed alongside the schedule.

Buy content for your publishing team, product pages or media buyer without a Velnox post. Your social or advertising account credentials are not needed.

1. Check the product before booking a shipment

Tell us the exact model, sample location and intended demonstrations. Include dimensions, power requirements, accessories, setup instructions and handling constraints. Identify development units and clarify their approved appearance and functions.

Check that the sample can perform the planned actions and required devices are available. If sealed packaging matters, discuss preparation before opening it. Provide supported information and flag claims or demonstrations to avoid.

2. Agree a practical sample route to China

For a China-based client, discuss direct domestic shipment first. An overseas buyer can ship from their own location; a Chinese supplier is an option, not a requirement.

2. Agree a practical sample route to China
RouteConfirm before dispatch
Domestic client shipmentReceiving details, usable sample date, contents and return or retention arrangements.
China supplier or warehouseExact SKU and finish, the sender's contact, included parts and permission to supply the sample.
International shipmentProduct feasibility, shipping costs and responsibility, customs arrangements and return feasibility.

3. Review a concrete plan—not an unexplained promise

After scope and quote are agreed, we develop the shooting plan and script around your product, audience and requirements. Review the sequence, actions, copy, sound and output list. Nominate one approval contact to resolve conflicting comments before filming.

Scripts, spoken presentation, voiceover and subtitles can be planned for the target language you need. Agree language variety, tone, recording format, pronunciation review and versions. Language support does not mean every language is always recorded by a local native on-camera presenter; confirm the proposed treatment before approval.

4. Set dates around readiness and approvals

Share the launch date before dispatch and ask what must be ready for production to begin. Sample arrival, functional setup, approved product information, plan approval and agreed capacity all matter. Shipping time alone is not the production schedule, and an incomplete or unusable sample can change the plan.

We film and edit a draft after plan approval. Review the correct version with timecoded, consolidated feedback. Distinguish a correction against the approved plan from a new concept or additional filming. The agreement sets review rounds and change handling; do not assume an unlimited revision service.

5. Separate the digital handoff from the sample and usage rights

Confirm film counts, versions, clips, format, resolution, ratios and language files. A finished film, clean export, camera originals and editing project are different deliverables. Explicitly request the files you need.

Agree platforms, territories, duration and relevant audio or identity permissions. Sample return or retention is a separate logistics decision. We confirm receiving details privately; before dispatch, agree who handles shipping, customs arrangements, any import charges and the sample's return or retention.

Questions before you commission production

Can a US brand hire Velnox without a Chinese supplier?

Yes. A US or other international client can arrange sample delivery from its own location after feasibility and logistics are agreed. Our studio is in Zhuzhou, China, and your team can approve the plan and review the film remotely.

Can my factory in China send the product directly?

Yes, that is an option. First confirm the sample model, finish, accessories, sender, receiving details and return or retention arrangement so the delivered product matches the approved plan.

Can I approve everything without attending the shoot?

The workflow supports remote approval of the shooting plan and script, then review of the filmed and edited draft. Agree the approval contact, feedback process and any additional review requirements in advance.

Can you create content in my market's language?

We support target-language copy, scripts, spoken content, voiceover and subtitles according to the brief. Confirm the recording approach, tone, pronunciation approval, versions and fees; spoken content is optional.

When does the production timeline start?

Confirm the start conditions in the agreement. A usable sample, required accessories, approved information and plan approval can all be prerequisites; dispatch or delivery alone does not establish a fixed completion date.

MAKE THE DECISION WITH REAL FILMS

Inspect the product handling, not just a promise.

These complete films and production studies show visual choices, product actions and editing for discussion. They are not stock footage for sale, past client prices or evidence of delivered file counts.

Start with your product and purpose, not a finished script.

Share the product, sample location, audience and files you need. After scope and price are confirmed, we prepare the filming plan and script for approval before production. Use the editable brief if it helps, or start with a question by email.
